Where It All Began
Mr. Boom Boom Bang
Around twenty years ago when little Nasir was born in Philly the 76ers was just a few short years from the NBA draft lottery, and he was crawling around his parents living room Allen Iverson was crossover the entire NBA. Ten years later Nasir was visiting his brother in the ATL and going to a recording studio for the first time. After that experience he knew producing music was his destiny. The Atlien who’s now known as “Mr. Boom Boom Bang” with his debut mixtape appropriately named the “The Big Bang” on the way, ears are waiting. Back in the day his love of music production led him to accumulating bootleg cds of Kanye West, long before he was tooting Louis Vuitton back packs. Swizz Beats was also one of his favorite beat makers.
He began studying the hot artist and their producers. Biggie’s tracks really intrigued him; he wanted to know who was making these powerful tracks. Bad Boy Puffy, himself put together a team of producers known as the Hittmen who was very influential to the Boom Boom Bang development. Understanding the culture of the Bad Boy empire he formed his own click called FlyStarz which was a movement of stylish kool younguns who hustle and are the life of the party while stacking paper. Along with his homeboy Tay, a FlyStarz member, they started recording tracks and eventually entered a contest to be on V-103’s Greg Street mixtape.
After winning the opportunity to be on the mixtape other A-list artist realized he could be artist/producer. Spending so much time in the trying to contribute to the growth of new artist studio really feels like it’s his time to get his music out and make a statement and lower the boom on the industry. Only time will tell as putting the finishing touches on “The Big Bang” his much anticipated mixtape.
